In an age before Metalcore was cool… Deutschland’s CALIBAN have wowed audiences and fans alike with their uncompromisingly definitive balance between densely beautiful choruses and gasps of dreadful cries for a seemingly fallen world wrapped in screams. The act ceases to disappoint; all washed down with an overdose of heavy. With open arms the band has delivered some genre defining efforts including: The Opposite From Within, The Undying Darkness, and The Awakening (just to name a few…). CALIBAN shows that sometimes wearing your emotions on your sleeve is a very good thing. Running in the vein of 09’s, Say Hello To Tragedy’s production, I Am Nemesis pushes the songwriting capability of the group while bringing new heavy breakdowns, gorgeous melodic hooks, and some guest appearances from genre leaders such as vocalists Mitch Lucker (SUICIDE SILENCE) and Marcus Bischoff (HEAVEN SHALL BURN) on the opening onslaught, “We Are The Many.” Simply put; I Am Nemesis is full Melodic Metal force at its best, hold the mediocrity. I Am Nemisis is CALIBAN’S strongest release to date screaming; kill less, rape less, turn your ears to the world with speculation, and crank the metal; this train stops for no one.
